Here is a little information letting you all know about the all new KC (known distance) division that is now an option for all attending 3DAAA sanctioned and club shoots. KC , KNOWN DIVISION. This division is a known distance division where a RANGE FINDER is allowed to be used on the ranges during competition to range targets. KC is open to all adult male / female shooters and to be shot from the BLUE 50yrd maximum peg.

There are no restrictions on equipment. This division is a great choice for beginners, hunters , target archers and 3D archers alike. BEGINNERS, have the opportunity now to learn 3D without missing targets due to distance errors. Yes thay still need to learn how to shoot but now without losing arrows due to distance. They also have the opportunity to learn distance judging as they go and on the fly whilst enjoying shooting 3D targets.

HUNTERS, can now use their hunting equipment ( less broadheads ) and enjoy 3D for competition , hunting practice and shot placement. They can rock up with their hunting bow , heavy arrows , field points , a range finder and again no need to worry about distance errors and losing arrows. We use range finders to hunt and now you can use them in 3D. TARGET, anyone wanting to come across from the target archery world and compete or participate in 3D can now do so without having to change their bow and arrow combinations. Again not having distance judging effect their game and ability to participate and or compete in 3D.

No excuses now so come shoot some rubber with us and enjoy the 3D game also. This is a division that not only allows great competition between shooters but also allows the sport of 3D archery to grow with the addition and participation of a wide variety of archers both new and existing. This is also a shooters division allowing the best actual shooter on the day to shine.With the removal of distance judging and the addition of the range finder it’s now up to the shooters actual ability to shoot his / her bow. The best shooter will win the day.
